1 AnswerCaptain Claw Error Unable To Load The Resource File 1003Most likely it is not something directly related to your client-side web-start.Try the following : Try to access the jar file directly from browser If not accessible (and probably is) check the following :

I've had this issue for some time now and it is really bugging me. When I open Excel I get a small dialog box that says 'unable to load resource file', I click OK and it prompts the same again, I click OK and then Excel works seemingly fine. When Excel is closed, the same error appears twice, then Excel closes fine. The following is a list of what I have tried to fix this issue.
1) Repaired MS Office > Rebooted > Issue not resolved 2) Disabled all Add-Ins manually > Restarted Excel > Issue not resolved 3) Uninstalled Excel > Rebooted > Reinstalled Excel > Issue not resolved 4) Run Ccleaner > Issue not resolved 5) Cleared %TEMP% files manually > Issue not resolved 6) Created new local profile > Rebooted > Issue not resolved The only thing that prevents the error from appearing is running Excel in Safe Mode which as far as I know disables all the add-ins which I have done manually and didn't get the desired result. Is there something else that is disabled when running in safe mode? I'm quite resourceful and usually can find a fix myself but even Google can't help me on this one. If someone can help me on this one I would be eternally grateful. Comments are closed.
